Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Go, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently


Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD, or equivalent practical experience in engineering, computer science, or other technical related field
  • Experience in firebug and other debugging tools.
  • Experience with browsers' compatibility issues and experience in solving problems.
  • Experience in frontend development.
  • Knowledge or experience of using Typescript programming language.
  • Knowledge of Javascript features.

Responsibilities

  • Develop technologies to promote the exchange of information and strengthen security on the Internet. Bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, machine learning, reversing, malware analysis, and threat hunting.
  • Work on projects critical to VirusTotal ecosystem needs. Be versatile and enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
